What TrickyBird is for
TrickyBird is a privacy tool that lets you open websites without revealing your browsing activity to the networks around you, provided for lawful, personal use.
Eligibility and age
You must be at least 16 years old to use TrickyBird, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. If you are under 16, do not use it. By using TrickyBird you confirm you meet this requirement.
Acceptable use
Your use of TrickyBird is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms. Read it. Breaking it is a breach of these Terms and can result in your access being blocked.
Premium and payment
Premium is a paid subscription. Its price and billing period are the ones shown on the plans page when you buy. Prices are in US dollars and include any tax. Buying Premium creates an account from the email address you give at checkout.
Stripe processes your payment for Premium. We provide Premium itself and answer your questions about it. We never see your card number.
Premium renews automatically every month at the price of your plan, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time on your account page. If you use its “Cancel subscription” button, Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and you can take the cancellation back until that date. While a renewal payment is failing, that button is not shown: you cancel on Stripe’s page, which the “Update payment” button opens.
Every monthly Premium subscription bought at 2.99 US dollars has an Early bird price: it keeps that price for as long as it stays active. We do not raise it. This includes subscriptions bought before we added this paragraph. The price includes any tax, so a change in tax does not change what you pay. The Early bird price ends when the subscription ends: for example, when you cancel and the period you paid for runs out, when a renewal payment fails and is not fixed before Premium ends, after a refund or a payment dispute, or when we close the account under the Acceptable Use Policy. It also ends if you switch the subscription to a different billing period: from then on, the subscription costs the current price of that billing period. If you buy Premium again later, you pay the price that the plans page shows on the day of that purchase. We do not end a subscription, or replace Premium with another plan, in order to take an Early bird price away.
If your subscription has no Early bird price and we change the price of your plan, we email you 30 days before the new price applies, and you can cancel before then.
Refunds and withdrawal
Each Premium payment pays for one billing period, which starts on the day of the payment. If you cancel, Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and that period is not refunded or credited. We refund a payment in the cases below and wherever the law requires it. If you were charged twice for one account, we cancel the second subscription and refund its payment in full. A refund or a payment dispute ends Premium at once and stops the renewal. Refunds are made through Stripe.
If you live in the EU or the UK, you can withdraw from a Premium purchase within 14 days, counted from the day after you pay, without giving a reason. To withdraw, write to account@trickybird.com. You can use this model form: “To the seller shown on the payment page, account@trickybird.com: I withdraw from my contract for TrickyBird Premium. Bought on: [date]. Email address: [address]. Name: [name]. Date: [date].” We refund the full payment to your original payment method within 14 days of your declaration, at no cost to you, and Premium ends when the refund is made.
If you live in Brazil, you can withdraw from a Premium purchase within 7 days, counted from the day after you pay, without giving a reason. To withdraw, write to account@trickybird.com. We refund the full payment without delay, to your original payment method, and Premium ends when the refund is made.
If we close a Premium account under the Acceptable Use Policy or the repeat‑infringer policy in our Copyright Policy, its plan ends, and we refund the unused part of the period you paid for, in proportion to the days left.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights if Premium does not work as described, or any other right that consumer law where you live gives you.
Provided as‑is
TrickyBird is provided as‑is and as‑available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, and non‑infringement. We do not guarantee that any site will load, work, or stay reachable. Your use is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for the content, conduct, or availability of any site you reach through TrickyBird. TrickyBird is a conduit. The sites you open are not ours, and we do not control or endorse them.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by generally applicable law, and we will try to resolve any dispute informally first. Contact us before taking any other step.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TrickyBird after a change means you accept the revised Terms. If you have Premium and a change affects your plan, we email you before it applies, and you can cancel before then. No change to these Terms ends or raises an Early bird price. A change to the price of a plan follows the “Premium and payment” section above.
