What TrickyBird is for
TrickyBird is a privacy tool that lets you open websites without revealing your browsing activity to the networks around you, provided for lawful, personal use.
Eligibility and age
You must be at least 16 years old to use TrickyBird, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. If you are under 16, do not use it. By using TrickyBird you confirm you meet this requirement.
Acceptable use
Your use of TrickyBird is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms. Read it. Breaking it is a breach of these Terms and can result in your access being blocked.
Premium and payment
Premium is a paid subscription. Its price and billing period are the ones shown on the plans page when you buy. Prices are in US dollars and include any tax. Buying Premium creates an account from the email address you give at checkout.
Stripe processes your payment for Premium. We provide Premium itself and answer your questions about it. We never see your card number.
Premium renews automatically every month at the price of your plan, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time on your account page. If you use its “Cancel subscription” button, Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and you can take the cancellation back until that date. While a renewal payment is failing, that button is not shown: you cancel on Stripe’s page, which the “Update payment” button opens.
If you ask within 14 days of your first payment, we refund it in full. A monthly renewal is not refunded. Refunds are made through Stripe, and the refunds page says how to ask. A full refund or a payment dispute ends Premium at once and stops the renewal.
If we change the price of your plan, we email you 30 days before the new price applies, and you can cancel before then.
If we close a Premium account under the Acceptable Use Policy or the repeat‑infringer policy in our Copyright Policy, its plan ends, and we refund the unused part of the period you paid for, in proportion to the days left.
Nothing in these Terms limits the rights that consumer law where you live gives you.
Provided as‑is
TrickyBird is provided as‑is and as‑available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, and non‑infringement. We do not guarantee that any site will load, work, or stay reachable. Your use is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for the content, conduct, or availability of any site you reach through TrickyBird. TrickyBird is a conduit. The sites you open are not ours, and we do not control or endorse them.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by generally applicable law, and we will try to resolve any dispute informally first. Contact us before taking any other step.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TrickyBird after a change means you accept the revised Terms. If you have Premium and a change affects your plan, we email you before it applies, and you can cancel before then. A change to the price of a plan follows the “Premium and payment” section above.
