Unblock Claude and chat through your browser

Claude is Anthropic’s AI assistant, and its home at claude.ai is a heavy single-page app that streams its answers. TrickyBird opens the real thing in a browser tab: paste the address, press Launch, and Claude loads through TrickyBird’s own address, with nothing to install and no TrickyBird account to create. Sign in with the email code Anthropic sends you and chat as usual.

What usually stands in the way is the device as much as the network: a filtered connection plus a machine where you cannot run an installer or add an extension. A web proxy fits that spot because there is nothing to install. Opening TrickyBird is the same action as opening any other page, in the tab you already have.

In our own tests, signing in and chatting both worked through the proxy: the login page rendered, the email code went through, and replies streamed in the way they do direct. The Claude name never shows up in the URL, on the page, or in the requests your browser sends. Your conversation is with Anthropic’s Claude; TrickyBird only carries the page.

Claude in our own tests

Signing in with an email code and a signed-in chat with streaming replies both worked in our own desktop tests.

The address here is TrickyBird’s own, never the address of the site you opened

The site loads in the tab, but its address stays out of your URL bar and off the page you see.

How does TrickyBird open Claude?

When you launch Claude, your browser talks to TrickyBird, and TrickyBird connects to claude.ai for you. It rewrites the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript so every link and script points back through its own address, then a small script in the tab catches what the app loads afterward, chat requests included, and keeps them on TrickyBird’s address.

2 behaviors make Claude harder than a static site. It handles navigation inside the page instead of loading new URLs, and it sends each answer as a live stream rather than one finished block. TrickyBird keeps that in-page routing pointed back through the proxy, so screens open as you move around, and it carries the answer stream through intact, so replies type out on screen the way they do without the proxy. ChatGPT is handled the same way and opens through TrickyBird too.

Does signing in to Claude work through TrickyBird?

Yes, we have signed in and used the chat through the proxy and watched it work. Anthropic’s login has no password: you enter your email, Claude sends you a code, and you type it in. After the code, the signed-in app opened for us and new replies streamed in full. The code step is Anthropic’s own security check, and a person completes it in a few seconds.

Questions

Can I open Claude on a locked-down computer?

Yes. Nothing needs installing and there are no admin rights to ask for: TrickyBird is a page you open, so a managed work laptop or a locked-down school device can reach Claude in the tab you already have. The block on installing apps never gets a chance to matter.

How do I sign in to Claude through TrickyBird?

The same way you would directly. Anthropic’s sign-in has no password: you enter your email, Claude sends you a code, and you type it in. In our own tests that flow worked through the proxy, and the signed-in chat opened right after the code went through.

Do answers still stream in?

Yes. Claude sends each answer as a live stream, and TrickyBird carries the stream through without collapsing it into one block, so replies type out on screen the same way they do without the proxy. Long answers came through in full in our tests.

Does Claude see my real IP through TrickyBird?

No. TrickyBird connects to claude.ai for you, so the site sees TrickyBird’s address instead of yours, and your network sees a connection to TrickyBird rather than to Claude. To run the service, the edge keeps a shortened form of your IP and the hostname you reached, for at most 48 hours.

Can TrickyBird see my Claude conversations?

TrickyBird keeps an edge log to run the service: a shortened form of your IP address, the hostname you connected to, and basic response details, kept for at most 48 hours. Your messages are not recorded, and there is no TrickyBird account to tie any of it together.
